2025 Match Details and Information

Matches will be conducted in accordance with the American Rimfire Association (ARA) rules and the results will be sent to ARA for State of Florida and National Rankings.

Classes: Factory and Unlimited

Schedule: Matches are held on the 1st Friday of the month. Matches will typically last approximately 4 hours depending on the number of shooters.
Only a total of 12 benches are available.
For all scheduled club matches – Factory and Unlimited matches will be conducted on the same day and will alternate which class shoots first each month.

Pre-registration is required to be included in the match notification email by sending an email to ARAHernandoSC@gmail.com with your name, ARA number, class you wish to shoot, and if you are left-handed. Additionally, please indicate if you are a Hernando Sportsman’s Club member.

Entries: A “Registration is Open” email will be sent at 8:00am one week prior to the scheduled match to everyone that has pre-registered. You MUST reply to the “Registration is Open” email indicating that you will attend the match, and include your Name, ARA Number, Class (Factory or Unlimited) you want to shoot, and if you are left-handed.

As discussed with ARA, should we receive more than 12 email responses for the Factory 1 match the ‘standby/overflow’ will be given preference for the first spots in the Factory 2 match if it is scheduled. After the ‘standby/overflow’ shooters have been added the remaining open spots for the Factory 2 match will be filled based on the response to the 12:00pm email registration sent out. This also will be on a first come-first served basis using the email time stamp in the order we receive the reply.
• Should you want to shoot in both Factory 1 and Factory 2 matches you may, however you MUST respond to both respective registration emails that are sent out.
• We will NOT accept a singular email indicating you want to shoot in both matches.
• If you want to register for only Factory 1 OR only Factory 2 matches, simply respond to those respective emails.

All match registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. In that, the list of competitors will be determined by the timestamp of the respective match reply email.

The Match Directors reserve the option to cancel any given match (Factory or Unlimited) if we do not have a minimum of 4 shooters.

Day of the Match Check-In: begins at 7:45am.
A match/safety briefing will be held prior to each match. We look to have first shots down field between 8:15am and 8:30am.

HSC members $15
non-HSC members $25
Juniors (under 18) Free

Targets: Four (4) targets will be shot with a maximum time of 20 minutes to complete each of the 25-shot targets for record.

Miscellaneous:
All matches are open to the public.
There are only a couple stools/chairs for use at the 50yd range, therefore it is highly recommended to bring your own.
